Axent wear headphones review

The axent wear (or cat eared) headphones are indeed very cute. Seeing the design for the first time, it was a must want!
Taking them out of the box for the first time was very exciting, they came in a black box, and I was able to turn the leds on right away.

The leds are very bright and look fantastic, and the sound was better than expected. From both internal and external speakers. However only hours later after some usage, the right ear stopped functioning. For a 150$ headset, this was a big disappointment.
After charging the headphones fully, the problem seemed to have disappeared and they were fully functional for about 3 whole months. On a trip to London, they suddenly stopped functioning from the right ear.

Brookstone was very helpful and it was no problem returning them, no shipping fees were needed, and I got a 100% refund. They told me to wait a few months, since a "better version" was coming out.

I waited the time given, and then ordered a new pair.

The new pair seemed a little less bright than the first one (then again it might just be my imagination). And the right ear didn't work at all. I was pissed (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻!!!
After charging it, they magically worked (but I was still pissed). They continued working for a while, but the right ear would give up on life whenever it felt like it. So I decided to open the thing up and see whats wrong (since there was nothing to loose...)
After carefully removing the cushion, nothing seemed unusual, I tried gently pushing on the connectors assuming that maybe something wasn't pushed in. Put everything back together; and they started working again.
Since then, it's ben months and nothing seems to be wrong, and they are fully functional.
I have decided to have fun with them until the warranty is almost over, or until they break. Then return them.

Conclusion :They sound good, they are cute, but not 150$ cute.
